The Council wants to hear from you
It is the Council's responsibility to get to work on behalf of the residents and businesses of Baildon. The powers of the Council are wide ranging; they cover such topics as tourism, litter, lotteries, traffic calming, transport, war memorials, water supply, crime prevention, community centres, bus shelters and many others. The Council have already made a start in understanding about what they need to get involved in, but the Council exists for the benefit of the people of Baildon, so we need to hear from you. It is essential that the Council keep in touch with the electorate. We are a young Council, and so many of these channels of communication have yet to be established. We will be using various notice boards around Baildon, documents will be available in the library and electronic forms of communication, such as email, and of course this web site,
www.baildonparishcouncil.org.uk.
and also on the Baildon Village Website,
www.Baildon.org.uk
Please get in touch with your Councillors if you have anything you want to bring to their attention. What do you see as the issues of living or working in Baildon? What method would you like to use to contact the Council or your representative? Please let them know how you would like to be kept informed of Council matters. Contact details are on this website.
All communication with Baildon Parish Council should be channelled through the Clerk, Ruth Batterley. Ruth will contact the appropriate people and respond as required.
