NEWS FROM THE SEPTEMBER 2009 PARISH COUNCIL MEETING

The Parish Council meeting of 14th September 2009 decided amongst other things to:

  1. Publish walks that have been prepared by the History Society in A5 booklets. The standard of the walks is fantastic and they are fully illustrated throughout. The walks which have been funded by the Parish Council will soon be available free from various retail outlets in the village.
  2. The warden obtained agreement to have installed 15 anti dog fouling signs erected at dog fouling hot spots in Baildon. The Parish Council remains committeed to dealing with and raising awareness of dog fouling.The warden works closley with Bradford Council Dog Warden service. The funds for these signs have been supplied by your Parish Council.
  3. The inaugural meeting of the Parish Plan was held on 16th September. Please see the separate article on this.
  4. The warden quickly identified a substantial dumping of rubbish on Baildon Moor. The rubbish which appeared to come from outside of the area, has been removed and is being investigated by Bradford Council.
